Administration

Principal - Mrs. Jaime Creasy

Hello WEP Families! I would like to welcome you to the 2021-2022 school year as I continue to serve as the Principal here at W.E. Parker Elementary School!  As a native of Edgefield County, I have the honor of leading this amazing school in the district where I attended as a student and where my career first began. Twenty years ago, I began my career with the Edgefield County School District as the district's English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Coordinator. Since this role, I have served as a Classroom Teacher, Special Education Specialist, Curriculum Coordinator, and School Administrator. Each experience has provided valuable lessons in educating all children, in all aspects of a child's development and learning progression. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education, Master of Education Degree in Elementary Education, Educational Specialist Degree in Administration and Instructional Leadership, and Doctorate Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

My husband and I, with our children, reside in Edgefield. As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors, finding new and interesting places to visit, and serving our community through various charity organizations and projects. Edgefield is home to our family and we are blessed to raise our children in this great community!

As the principal of W.E. Parker Elementary, I am committed to ensuring that our students are engaged in innovative and meaningful learning experiences every day. We are looking forward to a great 2021-2022 academic year, and thank you for your continued commitment to our team!

If I can support your child or family in any way, please don't hesitate to contact me.  The school number is 803.637.4020 and my email address is [email protected]edgefieldcountyschools.org.

Assistant Principal - Dr. Denise Newman

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I continue to be a member of the Parker Pride!

My educational background is a Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in Middle School Education from the University of South Carolina, a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading Curriculum, a second Masters of Arts in Educational Administration both from Grand Canyon University, and a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.

I have lived in the CSRA for my entire life.
My husband and I live close to Edgefield County with our children.  I love to read, and binge watch my latest crime obsession.  As a family we love to camp and travel.

I have spent much of my professional career working with elementary school students, many of whom had special needs.   I was an inclusive classroom teacher with the Richmond County School District (Augusta, GA) for 10 years.  I then worked in the Aiken County School District as a STEM Coordinator at Jackson Middle School.  I have also served as an administrator in the private sector and in Aiken County Public Schools.

My decision to become an administrator came from a strong desire to make a positive impact on an entire school community. As the Assistant Principal, I will work diligently with our faculty and staff to carry out the vision and mission of Parker Elementary School. I believe that as a school, we play a fundamental role in positioning students for future success. I am committed to working closely with teachers, parents, and community members to ensure our children achieve their full potential and are prepared for the next phase of their education career. I am beyond excited for the upcoming school year.

Wishing you and your family a safe and healthy school year.
