Principal – Mrs. Jaime Creasy

As a native of Edgefield County, I have the honor to return to the school district where I attended as a student and where my career first began. Eighteen years ago, I began my career with Edgefield County Schools as the district’s English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Coordinator. Since this role, I have served as a Classroom Teacher, Special Education Specialist, Curriculum Coordinator, and School Administrator. Each experience has provided valuable lessons in educating all children, in all aspects of a child’s development and learning progression. My Bachelor of Arts Degree is in Early Childhood Education, my Master of Education Degree is in Elementary Education, and my Educational Specialist Degree is in Educational Administration and Instructional Leadership.

Personally, my husband and I, with our children, reside in Edgefield. As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors, finding new and interesting places to visit, and serving our community through various charity organizations and projects. Edgefield is home to our family and we are blessed to raise our children in this great community!

As the principal of W.E. Parker Elementary, I am committed to ensuring that our students are engaged in innovative and meaningful learning experiences every day. We are looking forward to a great start to the 2018-2019 academic year, and thank you for supporting our team as we ENGAGE, EMPOWER, and ENRICH students in the new school year!

Assistant Principal – Mrs. Christina King

Hello, Parker Pride!
My name is Christina King, and I am thrilled to be your new Assistant Principal! W.E. Parker Elementary has a strong tradition of students and teachers committed to excellence, and I look forward to continuing that tradition during my time with you. My family and I, including our dog, Molly, have embraced Edgefield as our home over the last three years, and we feel so blessed to be able to serve our local community.

My professional background includes degrees from Clemson University (B.A. in Elementary Education and M.Ed. in School Counseling) and The Citadel Graduate College (M.Ed. Educational Leadership), as well as 23 years of experience in South Carolina public schools. As a classroom teacher and a school counselor, I have connected with thousands of students and their families, and I have enjoyed watching them learn and grow through their educational careers. I can’t wait to meet all of our awesome Pride members and enjoy the same experiences with you! As an administrator, I have had the privilege of working with awesome, highly-skilled educators who have children at the heart of their passion, and I can tell that W.E. Parker teachers are some of the very best!

I look forward to a wonderful year with you, and remember,
